“I teach all styles of music in a relaxed and friendly manner. I want the lesson to be fun. I ask my students to bring in current songs they want to learn and we work on them but I also ask that they learn some classic tunes that I think every player should know. I enjoy helping students learn to improvise through blues chord changes and more complicated jazz changes.”

Students work on scales, chords, and soloing exercises including learning/reading tablature and the basics of standard music notation. Lessons are tailored to the needs of each student with a flexible approach. Rich works with all age groups and with students with learning disabilities.

Teaching Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday (10am-8pm) & Friday (10pm - 5pm)

Lesson Rate: $35 per half-hour
