Wow. Wow. The first thing you notice is the top. I have never seen a more densely figured piece of burl maple. Most people seem to like the sound of maple on swamp ash so that's what we've gone with here. Rich warm low mid range with focused bass & good treble bite are the hallmarks of this wood combination. The quartersawn wenge neck provides a neat growly hard somewhat compressed tone. Not only are the fit, finish, attention to detail & playability fantastic but it sounds amazing. This bass is a monster.
