65amps Colour Boost
The 65amps Colour Boost is based on the legendary Rangemaster® treble booster! It has all the same features of the Toneman Rangemaster® (manufactured by Don Butler), but with the addition of a 4-way Voice control to give you four different tonal variations instead of the two voices on the Rangemaster. Since Don started building the new Rangemaster in 1997 there have been a few progressions and improvements, but one constant is the use of the original circuit and the point-to-point wiring designed by Johnny Dallas in the early Sixties and used in the original Rangemaster. The improvements Don made right from the start in 1997 were the addition of true bypass switching and a status LED, along with making it a floor/stompbox format. Don feels that this new 65amps version, which debuted at the 2005 Winter NAMM Show, is the best yet.
