Elrick Gold Evolution Bolt on 5 Fretless - E1012
Rob has done it again. This is a super sweet sounding fretless that just oozes Jaco-liciousness. It is very touch sensitive & responsive to EQ tweaking. It will do a lot of things sonically but never loses its personality. What it excels at, however, is singing through the back pickup. When turned up loud the overtones are simply awesome yet the bass is always easy to control. And of course it plays as good as it looks. 10 out of 10.
Highly figured burl maple top on alder. The elegant & functional contoured neck heel provides completely unhindered access to the upper register. 35" scale neck with 24 position fingerboard. Bartolini hum-canceling J pickups feed a Bartolini 3 band NTMBF preamp with 3 way mid frequency selector & active/passive switch. Hipshot hardware.
