Here's another fine example to illustrate why Roger Sadowsky's name is so well respected in the bass world. This is a nice lightweight bass with great touch sensitivity. It's very responsive whether slapped or plucked but it doesn't lose sweetness no matter how hard you hit it. The RS-5 sports an ash body with a maple fingerboard. It has a balanced even-tempered sound with tons of focused boom or bite just a slight knob turn away. While the pickups sound articulate & muscular in passive mode the bass & treble boost pots provide up to 18dB extra focused at the perfect frequencies.

Sadowskys sound great even plugged straight into a board. Fretwork is immaculate & set-up is second to none. Prepare to be impressed.
