Roscoe Century Standard Plus
This bass was reviewed for Bass Player magazine by our friend Rod Taylor. When Keith Roscoe gave us the chance to nab it for the store we jumped on it. Keith swapped the hardware to black per our request. This is a great sounding punchy throaty bass. It's got everything we love about 70s J basses but with a ton of added flexibility & of course a killer B string. At 8 pounds 12 ounces it's extremely manageable even on those long nights on stage or in the studio. Quilt maple top on a swamp ash body in satin natural. Bartolini soapbars & 3 band preamp with push/pull mid frequency shift. 24 fret wenge fingerboard on a 3 piece maple neck. 35" scale keeps the B sounding focused. Hipshot hardware.
