Kudos to Rob Elrick. This bass is just a killer in every respect. The bubinga top is extremely light in color & the figure moves like crazy as you angle the bass. Just beautiful. It's a very lightweight bass at only 8 pounds 3 ounces and it has a fabulous singing tone that really breathes & swells at full volume. Swamp ash body wings with alder center strip. 3 piece quartersawn set maple neck with bubinga fingerboard. 35" scale, 24 frets. The neck to body joint is also a thing of beauty. Access to the highest register of the neck is effortless. Evolution series basses are super comfortable to play & hang comfortably on any length strap. Bartolini hum canceling J coil pickups & 3 band preamp with 3 way mid switch & active/passive switch. Fit & finish are immaculate and fretwork & set up are exceptional.
