Fender Custom Deluxe Stratocaster "One-Off", Candy Apple Red with matching headstock.
We decided to have the Custom Shop build us a unique instrument based started on the regular Custom Deluxe Strat platform. We substituted alder with a standard heel for the usual ash body with contoured heel. We had the neck slimmed down from a large C shape to 65 C to make it less of a handful. The neck is flame maple with a 9.5" radius maple fingerboard & 6105 frets. Neck & body are finished in nitrocellulose lacquer. Masterbuilt single coil Strat pickups provide all the classic twang & shimmer with added depth. Deluxe synchronized 2 point tremolo & Fender/Schaller tuners complete the package.
